Find something important

Make sure you find something important in each day.  Find something that is non-negotiable, that shows to you something of life's promise, that tells you life offers more than the threat of chronic deprivation and then make sure you do it.

Days go better when we have something to look forward to  and we find ourselves stronger and more persistent when we know something better is coming.

We lose perspective and so often fill our day with urgency and find ourselves wondering at the end of the day what the point was and beginning the dread with which we will meet tomorrow.  Hurry destroys hope.  It destroys gratitude.  And it causes us to miss much worth not missing.

Find something important tomorrow.  And you will be suprised how important the day is.
